With a spectacular backdrop, our summer concert series takes place on the lawn of a National Historic Landmark-Marquette Park at the foothills of Historic Fort Mackinac downtown across from the marina. Bring a picnic and tune in for some great live folk, rock, country, blues-the best of Americana.
All concerts are free. We do recommend bringing a blanket or lawn chairs for your comfort. Thursdays in July 8pm-9pm.
Our bookend summer concerts take place in our 500-seat historical theater at the Center for the Arts, located on the far east end of town at Mission Point Resort. Show: 8pm, Doors: 7pm, General Admission: $8

The beauty of Mackinac Island encourages artists to relax, focus on their creativity and thrive in the company of their fellow students and the instructor. We have some wonderful local and regional artists lined up for our weekly Workshops at the Museum, held at the Richard and Jane Manoogian Mackinac Art Museum. The classes offer a broad range of media from painting to metals! New this year, we will also host four extended workshops (scroll down for more information).
Come listen to Professor of Art and Film, and Mackinac Islander, Jim Bogan discuss Art & Artists on film. Following an introduction, watch the movie in a historic theater and join him afterwards for a relaxed and intriguing discussion.
