About
Jamie Fiste is Associate Professor of Cello at Central Michigan University. An active recitalist and chamber musician, Dr. Fiste's performance engagements have taken him to Europe (Hungary, France, Spain, and Germany), numerous colleges and universities including the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and the UMKS Conservatory of Music, and several conferences and conventions (Notre Dame Cello Fest, American Viola Society Festival, 44th International Viola Congress, Mediterranean Studies Association).
Fiste is joined by pianist MiJung Trepanier, an artist in the Michigan Council Performance Touring Program in 2012-2021 who has performed solo recitals at the Grove Music Festival, The Global Children Foundation in Steinway Hall, and the opening night at the Michigan Music Teacher Annual Convention, Vespers Music Series and Concert series at St. Claire.
