Learn intermediate watercolor in this extended techniques-focused course. Students will have the opportunity to dig deep into the art of watercolor and develop skills in a range of styles and techniques.

Aquabord® by Ampersand is a versatile surface designed for watercolor that enables an artist to create a painting with intense color, spray it with acrylic varnish and display it without glass. In this intermediate class, students will explore techniques for painting on Aquabord® including using wet juicy washes, layering, lifting, negative painting and dry brush. Paint is included in the class fee. Come to class with several photo references – or use the instructor’s reference.
